Went there last night with a group of 16 adults and 5 children. Service was better than great. Portions were huge and very inexpensive. Quality was outstanding. Very delicious...

Karaoke every friday night 8:30 pm. With DJ Opie, great time, food , staff, people, customers are cool too!! Come down and sing a few songs, star is born each and every friday night!! I saw some negative feedback about the food and service that is just ridiculous!! I am there every week in and out and if and when i am unhappy a dish is to salty or w done, they have a fabulous manager and staff, that all make sure your happy in the end...The manager was actually upset when i had to send a dish back once in like a year!! more

Not coming back to The Pine 6/19/2011

Waitress brings over our cheesy bread w/out cheese and says, ""Sorry, we ran out of mozarella cheese."" What?! Italian restaurant running out of mozarella cheese on Father's Day at 3pm?! Waited 40 minutes for meatballs that did not come out with our meals. Told manager and turns out waitress lied. Manager came back to our table to tell us, laughingly, that it was a miscommunication and did nothing to compensate for the bad service. \r \r Waitress talked about our table to other waiters while we waited approximately and hour after finishing our meal for her to come to our table with the check. After seeing the manager aggravatedly direct her to go to our table to give us the check, she gave an insincere apology and thanked us for our patience. more

pine restaurant of queens wiithout a doubt never again 1/12/2011

i could not give this restaurant a lower grade so 1* will have to do... this place is a mess starting with the mngr.. i thought since it cooks family style they would be able to accomodate an in restaurant party of 30 and i learned the hard way... was over charged and since the 11th of december am still trying to get the mngr to refund the over chrged amt... the food was served cold and the chairs were dirty with food in the crevices... the waiters are either good or bad there is no in between... their restaurant rating is still pending and i must say i am not surprised... to those that still wanna eat and dine here be wary... scrutinize your bill and speak up when the food is not to your liking... or u'll end up like me short a few hundred$$ an stressing to speak to someone that will listen..... Not a restaurant i would recommend ... NOT EVEN TO AN ENEMY!!!! more

Never again 7/29/2010

We took my mother there for her Birthday. We had a 6pm reservation for a party of 12. I called a headed and told them that we will be about 15min late. We got there the restaurant was not crowded more people at bar. We was seated immediately. We ordered drinks and appetizers and our food. Why it took 2hrs for the food to come out the appetizers came out 10mins for the dinner. The steak taste like rubber and look like pieces for old beef shredded instead of Filet Mignon. The Lobster was very dry. The waiter was ok just was not very accommodating. We will never go back there. The men bathroom did not even have door nob to open and close the door. The staff was extremely attentive to both the adults as well as the children. Going back to the food, great, great, great. Very tasty and enough to have left-overs for most of us.
