Horrible customer service and bad repair. When I went to the shop I saw a customer repeatedly telling them to do it right as if she had a prior problem, which made me uncomfortable. I asked to replace a zipper slider because it lost the pull part. They told me to prepay $14.
When the repair was done I didn't see the replaced zipper slider on my Samsonite suitcase. The repairman pointed out and to my surprise it was so small. It is very mismatching next to the original slider. Not only the size difference it leaves a big gap between the sliders. The original slider which is one of the pair on the the same teeth still moves effortlessly. But this replaced slider requires a lot of force to slide and I'm afraid that it might ruin the zipper teeth. In any aspect it is not acceptable and I cannot use it. I'm worried that not only he ruined my suitcase but other shop may not want to repair because an improper part was once used.
The repairman said that he used a different part because he didn't have a right part. However, he refused to correct his mistake. I said that he should have told me so that I wouldn't have ordered this repair. The female owner said that I was the first one to complain and told me to get out of the shop. The repairman told her to go inside because she was so rude to me.
Their business card says suitcase and bags repair. After this incident I feel mislead and can't even trust to let him fix anything. I would rather accept the full refund if they ever offer. But honestly I wish this never had happened and would be happier with the original broken slider rather than seeing my ruined Samsonite.
I want potential customers to be aware of highly potential problems of this shop. You only repair your valuable items and expect close to original appearance and function. This is a place where you become very disappointed to see a Franchenstein version of your treasure or a new art work using whatever parts they have on the day. Be aware!
