Worst CARE - Worst Customer Service - Worst Place!! 8/8/2011

I hate to say, but this was the worst experience I have had ever with my horse. The veterinarians are new grads and have minimal experience. The customer service is terrible. Rude, insulting and just shocking! I called to share my concerns anomously with the customer service department, just to be told that they have Caller ID and know who I am... Seriously! I was trying to be polite and not make a 'big' deal out of something that they could simply handle themselves. It was unprofessional as the visit was to our home. We have had two other second opinions since and they are the opposite of Pilchuck's. Both the other vets agree and have a much more positive approach and our my horse enjoys both of them. In addition, they were both more informative and HAPPILY answered questions in detail for me! I would NOT reccoment Pilchuck to anyone! more

Saved the day! 6/28/2011

Our experience with Pilchuck most wonderful and was under some of the worst circumstances....a 6 year old little girl facing some complicated family issues who witnessed ""her bestest baby, Sadie"" (Pomeranian/Alaskan Eskimo mix) get ht by a car. Hysteria wrapped in fatalistic fears in only the way a little girl can project (think non-stop tears at shocking volume) dominated near every moment that followed. Not only did Pilchuck save our Sadie's life, they helped ease our little girl's worst fears. Even when they said Sadie had to stay overnight, despite their promises that Sadie would be well cared for and be okay, it was a rough night here at home and how appreciated it was to wake at 6:00am with a message Sadie would be ""just fine"" and coming home that day. The care Sadie received at the vet was first rate and the after care instructions were clear, concise, easy to apply and right now my biggest problem is trying to keep Sadie and our 6 year old from playing too much. Thank you, you saved our dog and everything else important in our lives. more

This shouldn't happen to anyone! 3/16/2011

After hearing of a friend's recent experience with this ER, I have to put my 2 cents worth in! \r 5 years ago I went to PVH with a boxer that had delivered 1 puppy and 6 stillborns. I went to their reproduction speicalist, and he said to rebreed her and under his care, she should have a normal delivery. $2000 later my dog went into labor, delivered 1 puppy and had no more contractions. We raced into PVH because all of her records were there and thought that they would give her the best treatment considering they knew her case. We arrived at 2am and the entire hospital smelled of DMSO from a horse they were treating. I asked for an ultra sound to see if the puppies were still alive and I was denied. Xrays and ocitocin were given and we were put in an exam room, and ignored. We had no blankets, no towels, the room was covered in birthing material, and my husband had to go to our vehicle to get the blankets and towels we had brought for the drive. I was screaming for them to do a csection more

Excellent Veterinary Hospital 1/20/2009

Pilchuck is a great Hospital. I have taken one of my horse there, and they were awesome. They helped my little filly a lot. She had to have eye surgery and everything is fine now. more

They know us well... 1/7/2009

we have eight ponies in the middle of Mukilteo And a neighbor poisoned them.. Pilchuck was instrumental in the care of three of our ponies.. and went above and beyond.. We still use tem.. but appreciate the extra time and effort, and care, when our beloved stallion was euthanised. A stress for all.. they did all they could. \r \r Great staff... Great care, more

Will go back again and again. 12/1/2008

When my boston terrier was 2 years old she had to have a joint/knee surgery. Pilchuck performed this on her and she's been fine eversince. She's 8 now. She runs and plays like a normal dog and back then she limped oand only walked on 3 legs. They were so kind and clearly love animals we've been going back for anything that comes up. Fantastic service and we love them. more
