Pignetti's Italian Restaurant

We had a wonderful time, enjoyed a fabulous dinner with a great bottle of wine together. The staff was super helpful the entire time. THIS is why I chose Pignetti's for my first meal in the US after a year deployed in Iraq! My wife is still in Iraq and will come back in October. Just like everyone who's already reviewed Pignetti's, I only have praise for their food. Awesome pastas and above average desserts. The ambiance is very good too, even if it does get very crowded, and yes, the tables are a bit too close together so forget about getting up once you've been seated. It's HARD to navigate around all those other diners. The somewhat unimpressive building is in the old part of downtown Temple where construction is making parking a hell. The interior is very nice, though. Country Italian flourishes with nice photographs make an interesting field for your eyes to roam while waiting for your food. more

A great place to eat. Wonderful food, good service. Good wine selection. They take reservations which is a always good for that important date or meeting. Valet parking, nice atmosphere. The only complaint I have is that the tables are too close together and the place tends to be noisy if crowded. A must visit for Italian food. more

Let me prepare you! If you love Italian food mixed with a candle light environment filled with Italian classics, then Pugnetti's is for you. This is located in downtown Temple, Texas among the hussle and bussle of the city, yet a quiet, distant place once you arrive. This building is rather a historic one that has been in existence for atleast 50 years. This newly created places of business is perfect. I highly recommend the lasagna, and definately the crab cakes. The servers are professional, knowledgeable and very customer service oriented. The decor is elegant. You will find Italian classic portrait, and classic signatures of those before us. The floors are a soft, wooden floor which adds to the elegance as well. This place of business is highly recommend. It is perfect for a romantic evening, a business setting, and just a relaxation moment for yourself. more

This is a great restaurant for a romantic night out to eat. It's a classy establishment and the food is superb! It's located in downtown Temple. I can be hard to find parking but it's worth it. They offer valet parking to make it easier on you. They are open for lunch from 11-2 and then they open again for dinner from 5-9. On weekends they are open until 10. They also offer catering! You just try the Italian Cream cake, it's wonderful! more
