We stopped in for lunch at Pier 99 with our two young children after visiting the Texas State Aquarium. (We were able to walk here from the Aquarium parking lot!) We sat on the patio, and the kids loved the view of the Lexington. We got to see several huge ships pass under the harbor bridge and sail right by while we waited for our food. The wait for the food was a bit long, but the live music and atmosphere made the time pass more quickly. We were quite comfortable sitting at a patio table with a cover, and the breeze was nice. I enjoyed the fresh seafood gumbo, and my husband had a great fish po-boy. My son said the kid's fish plate was ""the best fish ever"". The food is very good, and our service was excellent. This is a casual restaurant, great for families who don't want to eat ""food court"" meals at the Aquarium. We will definitely come here again the next time we are in Corpus Christi!
Pros: Seat yourself, Good for families/groups, Fun atmosphere
Cons: Long wait for food
