Pier 99

Had late lunch here Sunday after the USS Lexinton tour. Great location, super friendly waitstaff, and great food (large portions, reasonable prices and tased excellent). Also, worth the walk along their pier to get a really cool view of the Lexington or to fish. Pier access is completly free! more

When we first got there I was not so sure it was a good place. We had to find a table and the waiter finally came over. However, the place was fantastic. The service was good, and the food was incredible. And the live music was to die for! I would recommend Pier 99 to all seafood lovers. more

We come here every time we are in corpus. The rum runners are awesome. My dinner was good. Hubs had the Mahi Mahi blackened and he loved it. It is right on the water and they usually have someone singing and playing guitar. It is all around relaxing and a chill place to be. more

There was live music. Our table sat directly infront of the beach and the Lady Lexington. The fried shrimp are amazing. If you are looking for a place with beautiful views to relax and just enjoy yourself, this is the place. more

We liked it, seafood was good. There were alot of people we got to seat inside. The waiter was very nice. And the food was very good. more

We stopped in for lunch at Pier 99 with our two young children after visiting the Texas State Aquarium. (We were able to walk here from the Aquarium parking lot!) We sat on the patio, and the kids loved the view of the Lexington. We got to see several huge ships pass under the harbor bridge and sail right by while we waited for our food. The wait for the food was a bit long, but the live music and atmosphere made the time pass more quickly. We were quite comfortable sitting at a patio table with a cover, and the breeze was nice. I enjoyed the fresh seafood gumbo, and my husband had a great fish po-boy. My son said the kid's fish plate was ""the best fish ever"". The food is very good, and our service was excellent. This is a casual restaurant, great for families who don't want to eat ""food court"" meals at the Aquarium. We will definitely come here again the next time we are in Corpus Christi! I make this place a regular stop every time I'm in Corpus. The wait staff is always congenial, the service fast and the food is fresh and the best anywhere. For ambience, fresh seafood, great drinks and tremendous service, Pier 99 is a ""must go to"" place when visiting Corpus Christi. more

They have the best all you can eat white fish anywhere, the staff is fantastic and helpful. Pros: Inside seating, outside seating, best seafood more

The service SUCKS big time. We had to wait for over an hour for our food. I had to ask that the soup be served before my meal. The waitress dropped the crackers for my Clam Chowder on the floor and never replaced it. I guess she was expecting me to pick it up from the floor. When my order finally came in, over an hour later, it wasn't what I ordered. I ordered seafood platter (shrimp, fish, oysters, etc.). When it came in she told me that there are no oysters so she just decided to add some more shrimp. They did not even have the courtesy of informing me of the situation first and see if I'm OK with it. It was pretty breezy and cold at the patio but the heaters were out of gas.
