Our incident took place several years ago so maybe managers have changed but... We had a Pathfinder and had them do a brake job on both the front and back brakes. 2 days later we went to Brevard, NC to start our 2-week vacation. On the 2nd day (a Friday), the rear brakes started locking up when the pedal was barely pushed. We called them, they denied any wrongdoing and said there was a Nissan dealership in Hendersonville. We had the truck towed (thank goodness for AAA) there. They inspected it and there was dirt on the rear rotors. This meant they had to rework the rear brakes and it wouldn't be done until the next day. Piedmont Nissan said they wouldn't pay for it. Hendersonville got in touch with Nissan "headquarters" and they intervened. Piedmont Nissan finally said they would pay for it and our extra expenses (had to rent a vehicle and get the hotel for an extra night). We went ahead to Indiana to finish our vacation. i went to one dealership and stayed for 4 hours trying to get a truck,and was turned down flat.so the next month went to the piedmont nissian dealership to get an oil change for my wifes car.told them i was turned down they said lets see what we can do.i told them i didnt want the run around just to be told no.so after 3 and a half hours got a sweet truck for $360 bucks a month for 6 years.i could afford no more.2 weeks had come and gone and i loved that truck even more when i got a phone call asking for us to come in and sign some papers real quick.now keep in mind ive already signed all the papers and the bill of sale for my trade in. everything i thought was done.they told me that the credit company has changed the deal.so they changed it from a 6 year to a 5 year and raised the payments from $360 a month to $560 a month.so i had to give it back,broke my heart and i will never shop with them again. more
