Even before your new puppy or adopted dog joins your home, it's a great time to reflect upon the influence early dog training can have in shaping a relationship that's safe, loving and peaceful for both human family members and pets. Don't wait until your new puppy or adopted dog develops bad habits to break! Start your training right away! Preventative training is much easier. Still, it's never too late to learn, so if you need help with behavioral problem solving, we offer that, too.
Visit the "dog training" tab of the Picture Perfect Pets website (www.BetteYip.com) to learn why this company has become one of the Boston area's favorite positive reinforcement and "clicker" based dog training programs. Feel free to explore our treasure trove of helpful dog training tips and training triumphs in that section, too.
Please note: Although use of a clicker in the beginning of your dog training program is highly recommended, an appropriate verbal reward marker may be used instead--just ask us for details. We do NOT use prong or choke collars in classes. If you need help choosing a dog-friendly pull-management tool, please ask.
Whether you have a new puppy, or an adolescent or adult dog that needs a review of (or introduction to) the basics, we have small group dog training classes (maximum 6 dogs) and private dog training options to help you reach your goals.
Picture Perfect Pets specializes in tailoring your perfect mix of private dog training lessons and group dog training courses to help your pet learn the skills needed to fit seamlessly into your chosen lifestyle, whether you're an active person who loves to hike and jog, a "couch potato" who loves to snuggle and relax or a family needing help creating harmony in a household with both kids and dogs.
