Pickens Fence Co

Just had 275' of 3-rail w/welded wire fence put in, and it turned out great...even better than I expected. This is a family run company, and they are not out to get rich, but rather offer great service at a very reasonable price. I had an issue when they were ""squaring"" the lot, and they were more than accommodating. In fact, they insisted that I was happy before moving forward. The work was completed in a timely manner, as promised. I even decided to add an additional gate after work started, and they made it happen. I highly recommend Pickens Fence. Ok work . But, poor service. We signed the contract in march 08. Didn't hear from pickens till may 08. Was told we will do your fence next. Didn't get our fence started till july 08. still waiting to get fence finished now in October 08. We always had to Call Pickens they never called us to update us. Several times we were told next week. next week. next week. Your on our list ect.... we were given several different excuses and had to just waite untill this company decided to finish our fence . ( which hasn't happened yet) If we knew it would take 6 months to put in a fence we would have went with another company.... Felt like we were not important to this company. Pros: ok work. Cons: could not get this company to finish our job . We did not feel they cared. more
