It would seem that these hillbillies get a superiority complex if a customer is wearing a tie and does not know the technical terms for a lawn mower part. They were very rude and seemed they were too good for my business. I left and was relived that I wasn't asked to ""Squeal like a Piggy"" prior to leaving. I cannot find words salient enough to express my warning to potential customers. more

Don't go here for service or repair! My $300 battery-powered lawn mower worked fine, it just needed to have the blade sharpened. I call Pickelman's shop, they said they had years of experience and it could be done while I waited. I took my mower in and now it makes a terrible noise and I can't use it! The man cross-threaded a bolt and did not tell me! Thanks Pickelman's, for nothing! more

I have been to Pickelman's on three occasions and have been very satisfied. The staff is knowledgeable and competent in their trade, the prices are fair, and they have been up front with time and cost estimates. They often have a heavy workload (a good sign), but they get it done right and at very reasonable prices. I recommend them without hesitation. more

Almost 6 weeks & no mower yet! 9/8/2010

Also took our electric mower here since it is the only factory authorized repair place in our area & it's still under warranty. They've never called once, and on two calls made to them last week we were told ""he's working on it right now""! Wonder when or if it is actually going to be fixed!?! more
