Pick-N-Pull

Pick n pull in Utah sucks. I went in to find an ecu. I gave them a dollar to enter and then walked over to the info counter to ask where to find my part. After she told me i started out to the yard when another lady then told me "were closed" so i then asked do i get my money back? I didnt even get to enter the yard. "Nope come back tommarow"So i then asked if ide have to pay again? "Yes" It was bull. I have heard of tons of bad excperiances at this place and i should have listned. If you need a part go else where. Most places sell new for the same price as pick n bull. more

first off, they charge you a dollar to get in, me and my brother inlaw went to get a carrier out of a ford 9 inch, got the part and found a rad for him. Pros: nothing Cons: everything you can think of. more

I have been going to 3 SLC UT and 4 Portland OR, Vancouver WA area pull yards for over 10 years and Pick and Pull isn't the best, but is it not the worst either. They are very well organized and their prices have come down to match the competition. They used to be overpriced. Their scam used to be that they would charge a warranty price and not tell you that you had paid it. They now give a free warranty and their prices aren't too bad. At least their lot is clean and organized, much better than the lot on 7200 W off of 201. Personally, I always visit Tear-a-part on Redwood first since they have the highest turn over rate, the cleanest and best organized lot, and they are as close to environmentally friendly as anywhere I have ever been. more

I would not recommend this junk yard. I ended up spending as much for used parts as I could have purchased them new. When I asked the person ringing up the parts how they set their prices she informed me they take the retail price and discount that price by five dollars. This logic is flawed because they started out at $40 retail for a part I was purchasing and I priced this part at $33 new. Plus that doesn't take into account the fact that I had wander around looking for the car in their disorganized lot. It also doesn't take into account that the part is 14 years old. You shouldnt sell used parts at new prices. They should sell used parts for at least a third of the new price. Pros: Local Cons: Disorganized, overpriced, not helpful more
