Advertising TVs in the dining room 4/15/2010

What in the world was the owner/manager thinking when he/she elected to put Advertising TVs in the dining room at Piccola's?? I really like the food at this place. I really like the service. The prices are fair. Now I can't sit in the dining room and enjoy my food without being bombarded by advertising?? I hope the owner is getting a ton of money for the advertising on the TVs, cause I do not plan on going back until they are removed. Insane! I would give 4 stars if not for the TVs. I had to talk myself into giving 3 in spite of my complete revulsion to the advertising bombardment. more

For an authentic Italian meal, you must try Piccola Italia--a local favorite for more than 20 years. Mama and her sister are in the kitchen, straight from Rome! From the spaghetti, stuffed shells or lasagne to chicken marsala or fettucine alfredo, you'll experience some of the best Italian food in the Tampa Bay area. Pizza's and calzone's are enormous and delicious. Homemade cheesecake is also available and delicious but you might not have room! This is not at all a pretentious restaurant and children are welcome! more
