On Saturday night I took my wife to Picante restaurant for our anniversary. I had heard alot of good word of mouth about this place for months. I used to work at Picante Restaurant and had the best experience with my customers and the management! That review about the management is so obviously bogus!!! There is no pregnant server at Picante and there was never Flamenco music advertised for THURSDSAY night. If your going to pretend to review a restaurant get the facts straight at least and don't assume people reading these reviews are stupid!!! The managers and owners are very professianal but some employees are not! TERMINATED EMPLOYEES WHO WRITE RIDICULOUS REVIEWS ARE UNPROFESSIONAL! GET A LIFE!!! One of the true culinary gems of South Orange County. This restuarant has quickly become a family favorite and we've never came away disappointed after eating here. I've eaten at Picante's at least a dozen times and the food and service have always been outstanding. We've taken friends and family from Texas, Montana, and England and they've absolutely loved it and have already asked to go back when visiting again this month. This restaurant had been on my ""to-do"" list because so many different people had recommended it to me before. We absolutely loved it! The decor is beautiful! They have the nicest patio in orange county. The food was marvelous. Every entree we ordered was outstanding, very nice blend of spices/flavors. We did have a couple picky eaters at the table and the chef prepared their entrees to their liking!!!! We happened to go on a Wednesday, which turns out to be their night for Flamenco dancers and live music, and it was very exciting and tasteful. I recommend this restaurant to everyone! This is one of the most beautiful restaurants! Decor is magnificent. I had my friend's baby shower here and they made us a special menu and gave us a private room and our service was awesome! The price was reasonable for all the food that we got and they made the planning so easy! Definitely reccommend Picante for banquets! My kids love it there to with the special 3 course kids menu including churros for dessert! Everthing I have ever ate there has been delicious and priced fairly for the quality of food, service, and ambiance! The seafood is always my favorite- the Chilean Sea Bass (excellent & hard to find around here) & the scallops & salmon all very fresh and prepared to perfection! My name is Cris and i had dinner with my wife over 9 times at Picante Mariscos in Ladera Ranch,i don't know why somebody would complaint about the beautiful restaurant(Picante),i got to know Cyntia Ghalami,she is the owner of the restaurant,last time we were there she was verry verry helpful and verry profesional,the restaurant is verry clean,excelent food and excelent service and i would like to recomend this restaurant to everybody.I have not seen a place like this before,so beautiful,i apreciate the decoration and the dedication for this bussines.This my favorite restauran.Cris more

my girl friends and i went to picante last wednesday night, and doscovered that it was ladies night! we sat outside on the beautiful patio and listened to the ""jazz band"" and his friends play the sax and keyboard. it was very fun and the service was wonderful, as always. we ordered a few appetizers/tapas, and i was impressed by their inventive new take on classics. the owner introduced herself to us and told us the head chef is from mallorca!! we will definitely return again soon.
