pibs is the place i go to buy band t-shirts. They have a lot of variety and don't have your everyday stuff. I also love their vintage section and their dressing rooms are very creative. I have never had any problems with the customer service. The employees are always very helpful and efficient. more

ready to give up & sell my cool dated clothes, called pib's at least based ONLY on overall rating. last reviews here (2002/2003) very helpful, because i'm not in the mood for crummy customer svc. here's an update -- even w/o ever having bn there yet. told her what i had & she was v helpful w/ explanation. also talked w/ her about my concerns based on prev user ratings. she not only expressed her concern, but assured me there's bn turnover since then and everyone she works w/ or works there ""would b more than happy"" to help me. i'm sold. will head over this week. more

If it weren't for the service I have received at Pib's in the past I would shop there all the time. But I know what the other reviews are saying about the girls. I don't usually have trouble with the guys, but I hate trying to approach the girls. One actually tried to sell me two shoes that were both for the left foot. (???) Why would anyone buy two left-footed shoes? And it is hard to get them to do anything for you, like open a dressing room, without them wondering why they have to do stuff for you even though you are keeping them in business. Great clothes, but terrible service. I don't know if I could ever work there because I would be the only girl there with a work ethic. I started going to Pib's when they were still occupying smaller space a couple doors north of their current location. Those experiences were pleasant. My recent experiences have been objectional. Sure, the store is great if you don't want help from the women working there. They're pretty much stuck on themselves, think they're such hot sh!t... And they don't know what they're doing with exchanges. I wanted to exchange a brand new dress and two pairs of shoes -- she offered $11 for the whole lot. Aside from their workers' attitudes, the selection is great. Pros: good selection, vintage section, fair prices Cons: poor service, bad exchange more

I go there all the time b/c I love the clothes, but when ever the girls are working there I have a hard time shopping. They can't seem to understand the concept that they are there to work, not socialize. It took me 10 minutes to get a dressing room b/c the girl was on the phone talking to a friend. And when you ask them to get something out of the case they sign and make it seem like they are doing you a favor by working there. I often caught them away from the counter admiring themselves in the mirrors. I suggest that Pib's get new people to work there, more customer friendly people. Pros: cool clothes, good music playing, reasonable prices Cons: bad service, annoying workers, belt cost too much more
