Pia's is a Taylor institution, just like Wal-mart and chewing tobacco.
Unlike the latter two, Pia's is an enjoyable experience. The food is solid, but the pizza is where they really shine. Forget those chains named after Huts or Romans, and enjoy what pizza is supposed to taste like. Their pies are made from real, fresh ingredients, and the sauce is outstanding (maybe just a tad more garlic?). The staff is friendly, efficient, and most of them seem to have been there for a while.
Like the title says, they must be doing something right.
