    After obtaining a BS in Microbiology from USL in 1983, Dr. Baudoin worked in area medical labs for 4 years before entering medical school. After completing medical school in Kansas City, Missouri at University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine, he moved his family to New Orleans to complete training in an Anesthesiology residency at Tulane. While at Tulane he did training in both anestesiology & pain management. After completing his residency he became board certified/credentialed in both anesthesiology & pain management. From 1995-1998 Dr. Baudoin practiced anesthesiology & pain management & served as Chief of Anesthesia in Ville Platte, La, then moved to Alexandria in 1998, again practicing both anesthesiology & pain management. In 2006 Dr. Baudoin moved his family back to Acadiana & eventually became chief of Anesthesiology at Women's & Children's Hospital, practicing primarily obstetrical & pediatric anesthesia. In 2009 Dr Baudoin completed acupuncture training through the Helm's Medical Institute/UCLA, the premier acupuncture training program for physicians in the US. Being in the Army Reserves Medical Corp for over 12 years Dr Baudoin was on staff at Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington D.C. & Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio. While in the army Dr Baudoin was called to active duty twice serving at each of these medical centers taking care of wounded members of the armed services & teaching residents.
