Best

I've decided to try every item on the menu at least once. Every time I come here, I leave happy and full....

Worst

While some of the women that work here are extremely HOT, the food and service they provide is cool at best. On a few occasions I have gone and they totally mess up the order. T...

Plastic Cups? 4/18/2003

I can't believe this place is getting good ratings. They serve drinks in purple plastic cups that I can imagine little kids chewing on and leaving their teeth marks. They serve KOOL-AID and only have about 5 items on their menu. Cons: No parking, No selection more

Not a 10! 3/9/2003

I think some of the initial reviews must have come from staff/friends/family. It's a good place, but certainly not a 10. The menu is EXTREMELY LIMITED. The food was good, the portions were decent (although skimpy on the meat!). The dinners were not served ""family style"" and were difficult to share. Peanut sauce on Q.A. dinner runny but very flavorful. Red curry nothing remarkable. What's up with the Kool-Aid promo? Buy five dinners and get a free Kool-Aid hat...bizarre! Give Phuket a try if your catching a flick at the Uptown Cinema (a couple doors down) but don't make a special trip for a meal here. Pros: Open Kitchen, Friendly Service Cons: Kool-Aid Promotion??, Short Menu more

Phuket yells "PHUKET!" to the norm. 2/28/2003

Phuket is totally sweet. While a clever name may bring people in the door the first time, it is the food and service that will bring them back again and again. Phuket delivers both. The staff is friendly and eager to see you come through the door. Their food is exceptional and the decor is tasteful. The TV in the men's bathroom is a nice addition. I'm not sure if the strong emphasis on Kool-Aid is cool and refreshing or dorky, nevertheless it is unique. Being unique in name and beverage, however, is what sets Phuket apart from strong competition in the neighborhood. Pros: Food, Unique Name, Kool-Aid Cons: Kool-Aid, Limited Menu more

This Place Rocks! 2/25/2003

A cusual and unpretentious atmosphere make for an enjoyable experience at this new Q.A. gem. The menu is refreshingly smaller than the other 85+ item menus in other Thai restaurants. Yet the best part is the food. The portions, prices, & flavors. The owners have made it possible to eat delicious Thai food for well under $10, a first for me! All the prices include tax and the portions are HUGE! The service is friendly and relaxed, and they serve Kool-Aid! The chefs prepare the food right there at the open kitchen. This place rocks! Definately one of the best new restaurants in Seattle! Pros: Food, atmosphere, value more

Flight Attendant 2/25/2003

Best Thai food - and I've tried plenty. Portions are generous, very reasonable prices (which include sales tax), wonderful relaxing ambience, friendly- (chef almost always says "Hello" when a customer comes in), clean. The show is seeing your FRESH food being prepared over open flame shooting well into the air. This place isn't hiding anything as the ingredients are out in the open (refrigerated of course) as well as the preparation. I travel 9 miles (one way) just to eat at Phuket. Pros: Lots Cons: None that I see more

Incredible 2/17/2003

This has got to be the best Thai food I have ever had. It is defintitely better than any other offering in the neighborhood. Tup Tim Thai has been declining, and despite Racha's rise to beter food, it still does not come close to comparing. The service is instantaneous, the food fresh and very tasty. The dressing used on the salads included with dinners serverd after 5PM is EXCELLENT. It's also used on the side of the Chicken skewer appetizer. The peanut sauce - incredible. Pros: Food, Inexpensive, Friendly staff more

Are you joking me? 1/28/2003

Don't mis-pronounce the name of this fine establishment, you will be corrected. Lunch was ordered, and delivered to our table within 5 or 6 minutes. You will shoot yourself when you realize the cost of the food (cheap to reasonable), and that it usually makes two meals for the average smurf. Pros: Inexpensive, Great Service Cons: Parking more
