Great place! I am leaving on vacation and needed to get my Mani & Pedi before the weekend. Went in on Thursday and the girls were able to take me in. I love the service this place provides and the ambiance is great. Worth while to check out. more

I was looking for a local place to get my hair done in Escondido. I drove by Phoenix Hair Spa and decided to stop by to see what they had to offer. I was greeted by Ling Ov. She was so sweet and made me feel very welcome. I scheduled an appointment that same week. Ling has been doing my hair for a few years, she is the best at what she does. She is always trying to go above and beyond. She is a perfectionist which is why I always feel so confident on the outcome of whatever look I'm trying to achieve. The most important thing is that she really listens to what I want, and she incorporates whatever look I want to go with me. She has done the brazillian blowout on me, which I loved. I strongly recommend Ling, you will not be dissapointed!!!\r \r P.S. Ling also gives the best head massages, and there free!!! Just get your hair done with her :) more

I have been going to Diane Engelmann at Phoenix Hair Spa for a facial (once a month) for over four years now. Diane is the consummate professional and is extremely qualified in her field. She is up on the latest techniques available and uses products custom tailored to my skin type. \r \r I highly recommend Diane and feel so confident in the experience anyone will have with her that I actually give gift certificates to my friends and family for Birthday and Christmas presents. \r \r I am so relaxed at the end of my sessions that I always say to her “you can’t make me get up off this table and leave now”.\r more

I found this place driving around and decided to try it one day. I went here recently to get a cut and color and had a stylist named Ling. She was terrific. My hair cut and color came out gorgeous. I was trying on makeup and she offered to give me a mini make over, so I said ""OK"", and it turned out beautiful. I was very pleased! My 10 year old daughter got her hair done by Ling Ov, a fabulous hair stylist. The service Ling did was the Brazilian Blowout straightening process. My daughter has the kinky, curly mixed ethnic hair & after the process her hair was smoother & healthier! The salon is beautiful, the people are friendly & the atmosphere is calming & relaxing. I also went recently to have my hair done by Ling. I got summer highlights & it turned out beautiful! Ling knows how to make any hair look good. You can tell she has a passion for what she does & it certainly shows in the end result. I live on the Island of Maui and was recently visiting Family and Friends in Escondido.The Island tends to make my hair Dry and dull from the water and sun I am consistently putting My hair into...So needless to say my hair needed help! My Friend Lisa Richardson recommended the New ""Brazilian Blowout"" The Name alone got me curious and I couldn't wait to see what this procedure entailed for my hair! Lisa said it would make my hair less frizzy, smother, and silky! Well, she was right, the results were amazing and I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great result to your Hair looking and Feeling Amazing! Lisa also gave me a trim that was also very helpful to the feel, but the Brazilian Blowout was a Special treatment that I would Highly recommend to everyone who needs a Boost to their Hair texture and Look! My hair was in some serious need of color correction and shaping. \r Lisa Richardson did an excellent job. I came in with blonde/orange brassy haircolor. She took her time correcting what needed to be corrected and updated my haircolor. \r Needless to say, I am in love with the new blonde highlights and the darker shades she chose for the rest of my hair. \r And I'd say the price was very fair for all the work she did on my hair - cut, color, and correction!\r Thank you! My friend, Nathalie, has just purchased the Phoenix Hair Spa Salon. I went into the salon to help her get things situated. It was obvious that I had been very neglectful of my hair care. One of the perks I received was free consultation on my hair. Lisa gave me great ideas on the cut, style and color. After Lisa cut my hair, Maria colored and foil wrapped my hair. I have since learned about hair color care and the differences in the hair care products. It has really made a difference with the feel and look of my hair. It has been greatly appreciated. The atmosphere at the Phoenix Hair Salon in Escondido was really nice but the customer service was horrible!!!\r \r I went to get my hair done for my senior prom and I didn't even get seated until 30 mins after my appointment time (which then made me late for pictures). Then I got moved 3 different times to different seats so that the regular clients could be seated and I was ignored. When they finally got to me, they tugged at my hair and were really rough. I found pictures in their books showing what I wanted but they ignored them. Then when my mom asked if they could fix something small so that it would be symmetrical on both sides, the main lady got really snooty at my mom and said that she better be lucky because they normally don't allow moms back there with their daughters. My mom was being my eyes for me because I had to take off my glasses. They were very rude and it was the worst experience on what was supposed to be one of my best days. I had a coupon for a free updo so I used that but if I was going to pay, I wouldn't have. At the end, the main lady just left without any goodbye because she had other more important clients I suppose. My mom had to fix my hair when I got home. \r \r Everytime someone complimented my hair, I gave all the props to my mom. Spa experience was great. Very professional, fabulous interior design with earth/ocean/sky theme, and really friendly staff. I called one time for an initial appointment and the stylist, who is also the owner, made her expertise apparent right away. Immaculately clean, not too pricey, excellent products with no sales pressure, and accommodating appointment times. I was happy with the haircut I received and my stylist was clearly a perfectionist about her work. I'll definitely go back and try out their coloring work as well.
