Editorial review from Citysearch 4/7/2013

This place is disgusting. If you want dirty food, this place would be it. My family and I went here yesterday. After eating for couple of minutes, we found a long hair in our soup. After confronting the lady manager, she walked away as if she was mad at us for finding it. Then when I confronted her that the whole soup pot has been cooking with this, she lied and told me that they make each individual soup from a scratch. How can you make a soup in 3 minutes from a scratch. She didn't seem to care and was continuing to serve to all other pho customers. The place was dirty to begin with it should have been a sign from the beginning. Be safe, just go to Pho Van. more

High MSG food and horrible service. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! 7/24/2011

Here is my top five worse things found in this restaurant. - Their food taste real good. Majority of their food taste is from MSG. If you want to ""AGE"" yourself quicker, eat more of their MSG-MADE food. It will definitely help. - Extremely poor customer service. I don't expect good service in typical Asian restaurants as I am Asian who already learned their mentality since I was kid. However this restaurant is worse by far. i.e. 1) Missing item for our food order and ignored the issue. 2) Don't expect a ""Thank You"" from them after all (Female owner is excluded). - Typical Asian restaurant with unclean setting. - Price are higher than average. - Owners get all the tips from customers. Workers never receive any. Not even penny. I am sorry to give negative feedback and I can't even give any star but citysearch requires minimum 1 star. I do feel I need to state the fact that others can understand what they are paying for when they dine in there. Better recommendation is Bambuza. They just open a new location at Tanasbourne. They have much better environment, good food at reasonable price, and good customer service. more

Needs Health Department Check ASAP 6/8/2011

I've been to eat at Pho Hung countless times since my high school days and always thought it was good. In fact, the food is still pretty tasty but it doesn't make up for the fact that a someone I know found a cockroach in her food and another found a decent sized rock in her eggroll. Also, as the previous poster wrote- the price/portion size ration has become unreasonable. The only ""pro"" I could mention about this location of Pho Hung is that they have remodeled significantly since I was 16. However, I would rather take the old ghetto Pho Hung if it meant not being ripped off...although, I'm guessing the cockroaches were already an issue. Eww. more

Phabulous Pho! 11/1/2008

Great place for inexpensive yet great Pho! I go there probably once a week with my boyfriend. The service is fast and the food is very good. The salad rolls are the best ever...can't pass those up. I would highly recommend this as a great lunch spot!! Pros: Great food, fast service! more

Best in Beaverton for pho 11/6/2007

We go here for pho at least once every other week. It feels really casual and family-owned, compared with the snazzed-out Pho Van chain. Not to say that is isn't always clean, fast, and friendly. The pho is consistent and excellent, the broth is really delicious. A wide variety of beef parts are available, I usually just go for the relatively tame round steak/well done flank combo. The service is incredibly fast! We have also tried various bun plates, as well as both vegetarian and meat spring rolls. All very good. more

Great food and service 7/20/2007

Had Pho many places and Pho Hung is one of the best. The West location on Canyon Road is a bit nicer inside and quicker in service than the Powell location, but food is excellent at both. When I request no pork in Salad Rolls and Pho, the West side has never messed it up. Plus I enjoy being able to get a Coconut Bubble Tea with the meal. Would say that Uwajimaya has a bigger portion for the Bubble Tea, but tastes just as great. more

Great food, great price, highly recommended!! 8/18/2006

The food is excellent here, from the featured pho to the rice and noodle dishes, everything is SO GOOD! The price is a steal, very filling for just 5 or 6 bucks. And you have to try the AVACADO SHAKE...it's simply the best!! Service is excellent too, even at peak lunch hour, my food has always come out within minutes of ordering. Pros: Great food, service, and value more

Good food, good people 3/13/2004

I love their salad rolls. I usually go here for takeout. Abundant condiments, fresh basil, lime, and sprouts go with the delicious pho. take some home and it will easily serve two. Too hot in the summer! Pros: good food, service, plenty, value more

Best Westside value for pho 9/14/2003

If you don't want to make the trek to SE or NE pho palaces, Pho Hung on Canyon is the best and tastiest value for your time and money. Cha gio were tasty but slightly overcooked; spring rolls were fat and fresh. Service is fast and efficient, if perfunctory. I go for the pho; they have the broth just right, and lots of choices of meat. This is truly ""noodle soup for the soul."" Best on a cool day or if you have a bad cold. Pho hung does it right. Pros: good pho, fast service, price Cons: mini-mall location more

Super Tasty When Hunger Strikes! 10/23/2002

Service is quick & casual, but if you're looking for someone to hang all over you, go to a different place. Soup bowls are the best in regards to portions, rice dishes are on the smaller size but still hearty enough to satiate. Pros: Fast take-out service, Large soup portions, The best salad rolls! Cons: Crowded, Sometimes noisy more
