We stopped by Starbuck at the corner of Jeffrey and Trabuco and saw a pretty Vietnamese restaurant next door and decided to try it out. Saigon Grille is absolutely beautiful with its contemporary Asian decorations. It features modern Vietnamese cuisine with a twist. We tried the mango shrimp salad, shrimp egg rolls, grill trout, flash pepper beef on watercress, cellophane noodles w/ crab, and fried bananas for dessert. Everything was very tasty and light. The place is bright and airy with an open kitchen, large windows and also places to sit outside. The service was very fast, the staff was friendly and overall, we had a delightful experience. The prices were not bad either. What a find!
