I wasn't expecting much when I finally decided to try Pho Anhoa Noodle House after many opportunities to do so. I didn't think it would compare well with all the other great Pho Noodle restaurants in the East Bay (let alone the multitude of excellent ones in the San Jose area) since it is the only Pho restaurant in San Leandro. But it turned out I was completely wrong; the food is excellent here, and I was surprised by the number of choices on the menu. In addition to your typical noodle soups (the Pho), you can also choose from a wide variety of appetizers (like Vietnamese spring rolls) and even combo plates served with rice.

Everyone who's ever had Pho noodle soups know that it's all about the soup. The soup, in my opinion, tastes authentic. Throw in the rice noodles (of which they give generous portions) and thinly sliced meat and you've got a delicious, authentic Vietnamese favorite for a decent price (ranging from $5-7 depending on size of bowl).
