My sister recently took me to this restaurant for lunch. I had never been there and I was very impressed. The ambiance is very French Vietnamese, with art hanging on the walls for sale, as well as screened prints.
The prices were very reasonable. The portions were large for a lunch special. I ordered the Orange Chicken. I truly expected the typical jellyish sauce that is almost fluorescent, but what I received was fresh made and the best orange sauce I've tasted at a Vietnamese restaurant. My sister's Kung Pao chicken was the same...fresh, well presented, and generous portions for the price. We also ordered Spring Rolls ($2.50 for two) that were freshly made with crisp vegetables and also came with freshly prepared sauce rather than jarred.
I didn't expect much from this restaurant, but I had a wonderful lunch (company excluded). I will definitely come here again the next time I'm craving Vietnamese.
