I am so sad to hear this place is closing. I've gone out here to have a few drinks and munch on appetizers many times because of their great food and cheap beer.

Oyster's any other way would be wrong 4/12/2006

Phil's Oysters on government is one of two places I recommend you go for oysters. They serve than anyway you like them, but there best raw. Phil's was originally located in a hole in the wall on government, but recently went upscale near the garden district. Either way you can get some good southern LA food done up just right more
