what a nightmare, god in a pizza joint, i think god has better taste then going to phil's!!! maybe like the pompano dump! avoid this place like it has the plague, i am sure it will in the future more

Made the mistake of going to Phil's recently,\r After I order my food I'm immediately assaulted by the cashier about why I should come to their bible studies.\r And then they are spray painting the vents in the kitchen at lunch time on a saturday.\r I'm looking throught the window and Phil himself is standing on the table where they make the pizza and the food is uncovered and he's spray painting and there is blue paint mist falling upon the uncovered food. WTF\r Then I go to wash my hands and they have no hot water or a working toilet.\r As I'm leaving he yells repent or you're going to hell. \r If there's any justice he'll be the first in line for hell.\r Decent food but not worth the hassle!!!! more

Best Italian Food Since New York! 4/12/2011

When you eat Phil's food it somehow gives me that warm fcomfortable feeling inside. I usually get that when someone I know who love me cooks for me. My fiance' also noticed that. There's something special about it. When I'm coming down with a cold I wind up ordering something there. It seems to help. If Born-again Chrisians give you the willies, not to worry. No one has ever tried to convert me. They have pamphlets around but never felt pressured. He does employ recovering addicts so some may look a little rough, but they're always nice. I don't see this as a bad thing being that most other places employ ACTIVE semi-functional addicts (or just plain morons) anyhow. Although I don't ascribe to Phil's brand of Christianity. I know faith in Jesus works very well as a viable substitute for drugs. Ask for healing in His name and you WILL be healed. Just keep in mind, ""His"" name is Jesus. NOT Phil... :) more

THE BEST PIZZA AND CALZONE IN TOWN :) 3/28/2011

I love Phil's restaurant!! the calzones are great!!! I personaly love them. the services is espectacular also, as Phill's personaly takes care of the clients. and you can find him at the restaurant at any time. the admosphiere in general is great, very homie and inviting. more

Phil's is the best I've had 1/28/2009

I used to go to Pasqale's Pizza for many years because it most closely resembled what I remeber from New York, but once I tried Phil's I was sold! His is by far the best. And Phil seems like a really good person. I highly recommend them. more

Truly great pizza in a indoor/outdoor venue that brings back memories of 1950's Florida. Just beautiful & Good! 2/12/2008

My daughter visits Phil's every time she comes down on vacation. Her first visit, years ago, left an impression of life on the beach that she's never forgotten, and still enjoys today. Wonderful breezes and terrific food make Phil's a place to dine, and remember just how good it is here in Pompano Beach!
