Dr. Phetsamong Nhonthachit received his medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies. He completed his family medicine residency at the McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, where he served as chief resident during his final year. Dr. Nhonthachit provides care for the entire family. He treats patients for acute and chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and general checkups. His clinical interests include preventive medicine. He is board certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Nhonthachit's top priority when with his patients is to have open dialogue. He ensures his patients feel comfortable enough to be honest with him. Only with open communication and honesty are his patients able to receive the best treatment plan to meet their needs and their health goals.
