They did a great job explaining the issue and giving me options and were knowledgable about different models of new furnaces. Pharo Heating replaced the furnace in our house with a hybrid heating system, a heat pump and a new furnace. I thought they gave me a very good and very competitive price compared to the other bids I received. I think they did an exceptionally good job with the installation. I was very pleased with the salesman we talked to, John. He was very low key. It wasn't a hard sell or anything. He spent a lot of time explaining the system to me and the benefits of hybrid heating systems. The guys for the installation came in the middle of winter. It was a big crew of guys, and John showed up too. It turns out he is also a technician, and he supervised the job. They were very clean and neat; they didn't get dirt around the house even though it was the middle of winter. Once they were done with the installation and got the furnace, air filter, and dehumidifier in, it looked very nice. It is a nice and professional looking installation. They used a lot of caulk and wires, and they all looked extraordinarily neat and professional looking. The furnace is working fine. They heating bill went down and has stayed down, so it is doing as promised. It is a little noisier than I thought because the large compressor is right outside of our bedroom wall. Everything went very smoothly when having Pharo install our new heating and air conditioning system. From their first visit to give us an estimate, all the way through arranging payment at the end of the installation, everyone was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The way I see it we received a price about the same as others offered, but service probably several notches above what others would have provided. Following visits from each of these businesses, we compared the technical specifications of the equipment they proposed t install, the cost, and our feelings regarding each company based on the representative who visited us. We chose to go with Pharo on the basis of the equipment specifications and its suitability for our application, the cost and the knowledge and apparent integrity of the firm. PLharo did the work as specified in a professional lmanner, were expediate, and provided no unexpected unpleasant surprises. Based on our experience we have great faith in Pharo. more

Purchased furnace and air conditioner combo from Pharo a dozen years ago. We have had nothing but fast, efficient and excellent service on every occasion when we needed to call them for a problem. Although the need for such calls has been limited due to the excellent quality of the equipment itself, they have always gone 'above and beyond' in responding to our needs quickly...even coming in less than an hour following a late night call for a furnace outage during one winter. We have been so satisfied, we have recommended them to our friends and relatives when they needed this type of equipment and/or service. In every instance, we were informed they had responded within a very short time and took excellent care of their needs. more

Pharo Heating was one of three companies I asked for bids. They weren't the lowest, but one company I really didn't appreciate, and Pharo outbid the second company. Both companies actually gave me all the information I needed and were patient with me as I kept both of them on the hook. Pharo Heating installed a whole new system, and the installation was very professionally done. Their guys worked fast, worked hard, and knew their stuff. It was an all day process. I tried to offer them tea or coffee in the afternoon, because I was tired so I thought they must by, and they thanked me and told me they wanted to keep going. I am a person who pays attention, and I watched them work to see that they were doing as I expected. They did. Everything works fine so far, though of course I haven't tested the air conditioning yet. They are very professional, know their job and do it, and are friendly and helpful. The guys answered any of my questions and just kept working. They made a terrible mess in the basement and the yard, and then cleaned it all up before they left. They had to take the old air conditioning and furnace out, and it was everywhere. It was late in the day, everything was running, and they went to work cleaning. When they left in their truck everything was as clean as a whistle. I have had recent experiences with other companies who did a good job but left me with a mess. more
