When my son needed a liquid form of a medication, Another pharmacy called Pharmcare in Pearland to help. They said they could either grind up the tablets or use a tasteless version instead. They said the ground up version would taste terrible. They made a special point of getting the prescription quickly. That's pretty good for special formulary prescriptions in a suburb like Pearland. more

Customer Service 3/26/2009

They need to hire another lady for the checkout register. The Asian lady who usually works it is not very coherent of English language and is sloppy when it comes to having you sign something!!! (No questions asked?) I have no prob with her being Asian, that part is good for business!!! Just think they need someone more friendly and knowledgeable of English in a pharmacy!!!! more

Independent pharmacy offers services that national chains cannot! 9/5/2005

This local pharmacy is owned by a woman who used to work for a national chain pharmacy. She opened this pharmacy and carved out her own niche locally offering services that national chains do not. Compounding of prescriptions is done on site and delivery service is offered for a small charge. She also has a post office with quick service for those who don't want to stand in line at the overcrowded post office in town. She also offers masectomy products as well as rents home health products for those who are home-bound. PROS: Small local pharmacy with personalized services that fill a niche CONS: Small rx inventory; pricing may be higher than national chains more
