Pham, Hien, Dds - Clovis Gentle Dental Care

Had a horrible experience at this office. Dr Pham seems nice enough, he just rushes too quickly through his observations.\r \r Jenny at the front desk is horrible. I have caught her in so many lies. She held off 2 weeks before sending in a referral for a ""specialty service"" (root canal.) When I called in 2 weeks after I thought that my referral was to be done, she told me that she would check with my insurance company and get back to me. I called my insurance company myself and they told me that they did not receive a recent referral from the office. So I called Jenny back and she lied and told me that she had checked with the insurance company and they were working on my referral. When I told her that the incurance company told me that they didn't receive her referral, she didn't believe me. So I had to call my insurance company back and ask them to call her to tell them that they do not have the referral. THEN she refused to call in an emergency referral even though my insurance company told her that it was authorized.\r \r AND THEN Jenny told me that she would call in a refill on medications to Kaiser and didn't. So when I called the Dental Office after hours on Thursday (they're closed Fridays) I noted the emergency care number. Which is apparently the Doctor's wife's cell phone number. After a very confusing call there, she called Jenny and Jenny lied again and said that she had called my refill in to Kaiser. I had to go to the pharmacy and ask them to call the Dr's wife's cell phone number and talk to them directly.\r \r I will be changing providers and using one that doesn't try to bill me for services that my insurance covers. I have excellent insurance and Jenny tries to charge me for things that are covered. This is absolutely fradulent service. more

FIRST LET ME SAY I READ THE OTHER COMPLANTS AND STILL GAVE IT A FAIR CHANCE.... DONT GOT HERE!! WHEN ME AND MY SON (WHO IS SIX YEARS OLD) WENT HERE THAY HAD THE TV ON WITH STUFF KIDS SHOULDNT SEE, I CHANGED IT. WE WAITED FOR ABOUT A HALF HR. NOT TO BAD. JESSICA THE OFFICE ASSISTANT WAS VERY NICE TO US BUT A MOM AND A CHILD CAME IN AND ASKED TO USE THE REST ROOM JESSICA ASKED IF THAY WERE PATENTS THERE THE MOM SAID NO, THE OFFICE SAID NO YOU CANT USE OUR BATHROOM. MEAN WHILE TWO PATENTS ARE AT THE DESK I CAN HEAR EVERYTHING THAY ARE SAYING INCLUDING HOW MUCH THAY OWE. THEN THE ASSISTANT CAME OUT AND CALLED MY SON. SHE TOLD ME IM GOING TO TAKE XRAYS AND WE DO NOT LET THE PARENTS BACK . I SAID OKAY. THE ASIAN WOMEN BEHIND THE COUNTER TOLD ME I COULD GO BACK AFTER THE XRAY. ABOUT 20MINS GO BY AND NOTHING. SO I STOOD UP. THEN SHE ASKED ME IF I WANTED TO GO BACK. I SAID YES. SHE POINTED THE WAY. THE ASSISTANT WAS ALL READY WORKING ON MY SONS MOUTH. I WAS UPSET AND SAID I THOUGHT YOU GOING TO COME GET ME AFTER THE XRAY (SHE HEARD THE FRONT DESK TELL ME I COULD GO BACK AFTER THE XRAY) SHE SAID I NEVER TOLD YOU THAT , YOUR NOT ALOUD BACK HERE AT ALL ITS OUR POLICY. THEN THE DR CAME IN AND HE WAS VERY RUDE AND IN A RUSH. HE ASKED MY SON WHERE DO YOUR TEETH HURT? WELL HE NEVER SAID ANYTHING ANOUT HIS TEETH HURTING THE DR WAS LEADING HIM TO SAY THAY WERE. This doctor made me wait for over an hour to be seen and the facility was not private at all. You can see everyone getting their teeth done. On top of that they scare you into thinking your teeth are going to fall out if you don't pay over 1200 for some antibiotic shots which they know standard insurance doesn't cover! Don't even think about scheduling an appt with them their office service is horrible as well and they don't return calls or respond to questions about billing! more

7/07 Please do yourself a favor and protect your privacy I was waiting for a consultation and the Dentist wife called me to the reception area after my polish and told everyone in the waiting area my oral hygiene case about seeing a specialist and how am I going to pay for services asking do I want braces or venners. \r And how she will deduct $ 100.00 if I choose one of them. I told her I did not understand her since she was talking so fast and has a accent she yelled at me what is it that you don't understand oral this oral that. This gentlemen behind me told her to calm down I told her I understood and left in tears. My daughter who was sitting the waiting area told me this lady was making a payment and ask for a discount and the dentist wife yelled at her and said do you expect me to give you 10%.
