We have been taking our cats to Dr. Pfister and Dr. Steinbeck for many years now. Though the cats are never thrilled about going to the vets, they are always treated so nicely by the staff and doctors. Both doctors are exceptional, but we will always be grateful for Dr. Steinbeck to take extra time figuring out our Larry's bladder issues and putting him on special food that stopped his inappropriate urinating habit. Cheap, no. Worth it...every bit. more

Great, professional care 8/1/2010

I have taken my miniature poodle here for a general checkup, and a grooming. Each visit was pleasant. From the reception staff to the vets, everyone was helpful and professional. My dog, who is shy with people, was pretty comfortable with everyone she encountered there. Pros: Friendly staff more

This is the Place you pets want you to take them 8/28/2009

I have a special needs - mystery Boxer - 2 years old - her medical records are a phone book .. Dr. Nicole Steinbeck and Dr. Pfister are the absolute best .. they have spent more time and brain cells on my Amber than you can imagine .. they CARE and the don't give up .. this is the BEST place you can ever take your pets .. everyone here really looks after your pet as if they were thier own - I can not tell you how i depend on them for my pup who is my world .. look no further - this is the ONLY place i trust her to., Pros: friendly - caring - on time - easy to understand Cons: they don't treat humans ::)) more

Pfister Animal Hospital 11/29/2007

This veterinarian is the BEST! He knows the medical side, the animal psychological side, and he is devoted to the animals. He uses the highest quality vaccinations (bet you didn't know there were cheap ones out there!) He even traveled all hours of the night to help my pet. I highly recommend this doctor, the hospital and even their kennel. The staff are friendly and helpful and the facilities are better than some human hospitals. I love the email reminders when my pets need a check up or vaccination and besides all that, Dr. Pfister has a great sense of humor. I think it helps me relax which helps my pets relax. Pros: knowledgable, kind, efficient, clean, quality Cons: they don't work on humans more
