These people have no idea what they are doing. My friend took her Maltese in to get groomed today. Obviously the dog knew something was going to go wrong as she was shaking from the moment we got there. My friend told the woman she wanted a short haircut. She did not think at the time she had to explain she wanted a 'short Maltese' haircut, seeing that the manager/groomer has ""7 years experience and a good reputation."" Apparently not the case. The dog got some sort of horrific poodle-like cut and looks nothing like the same dog. Upon speaking with the manager/groomer, who offered no apology, compensation or sympathy, she said that is what my friend asked for, a short haircut. My friend was upset but said forget it, it's just hair. About an hour or so later, at my house we noticed a huge gouge on the dogs leg. Okay, sometimes this happens (although this was more than a nick), but shouldn't they be required to tell you (or maybe they are) so that you can watch it so it doesn't get infected and lead to other issues. My friend called the manager/groomer back and again, no apology, compensation, sympathy or ownership to the issues. The manager/groomer even denied it happened there and said it happened at home. The dog had not been out of the house since the time she got home from the groomer until she called the groomer the 2nd time. The manager/groomer said she was just doing this for a free grooming and because her fiance was mad about the haircut (rightly so). My friend does not care about the money or getting anything free (although I believe a full compensation is in order), it is the fact that this lady will not own up to anything in this situation or do anything to rectify the situation. She obviously does not care at all about and does not respect her clients and their animals. I advise everyone to beware ware of this business and do not recommend them to ANYONE!
