I've been taking my Shih Tzu Bently to Pets R People 2 for over 5 months now and he absolutely LOVES this place! This is the only time he pulls me on his leash we get out of the car and he knows we are going to day care for lots of love and fun!\r I started bringing Bently to day care for social time with other dogs. We originally went to PetSafe Village but after 3 visits I noticed they would have to drag him across the floor by his leash to get him inside the room. That's when I went on there webcam to see why he was so upset only to find out that for the 5 hrs he was their he was out for play only 1 hr the rest of the time he was locked in a cage!!! That's not my idea of a fun day playing. Needless to say we never went back again and that's how I discovered Pets R People 2 a totally cageless day care or overnight care facility. It was started by Steve who has recently retired. The new family has made some pleasant changes. Check it out I have not regretted it and neither has Bently. more

I have been bringing my dog here for several months and can't believe how much happier he is! We used to take him to another day care facility but he hated it! I recommend Pets R People 2 to anyone looking for a wonderful place for their pups to play! more

When my husband and I first moved to Tenn we were in the process of building a house and had to rent an apartment for a few months. We had no where to keep our Golden Retriever and were afraid we would have to give him away. Thankfully we found this wonderful place! Pets R People 2 worked out a payment schedule and even allowed us to take Cassidy for day trips to the park and lake! He now has a huge backyard to play in but we still bring him to day camp here because he loves it so much! more

The name says it all. There is no other place I would take my Dogs then Pets R People 2. The staff is so friendly and take such great care of my Dogs. I have been using this Doggie day care for several years and I have many friends that I have told tham about this place that continue to go there. If any one else treats their Dog like their child this is the place you want to leave them at. Big thumbs up!!!! more

Pathetic 5/10/2012

This was my first time boarding my 10-year old dog Ruby at this pathetic facility. I am taking every possible legal action against the owner. When I picked her up after a 5-day stay, the owner Steve said she was ""bleeding a little"" from an old collar injury (an injury that had healed long ago when she was abused by a previous owner and before I rescued her from the shelter). In actuality she had an open gaping wound in her shoulder which was bleeding profusely. Steve said she had that injury when I dropped her off, one of many lies he told in an attempt to cover his negligence (if she had such an injury, why did he accept the animal and why didn’t he call a Vet?). I immediately took her to my Vet, who determined she had a deep puncture wound which penetrated her shoulder muscle (see photos). It had gone untreated for days and was so badly abscessed that she will not suture it until the infection and swelling is gone. What infuriates me most about this episode is that Steve admitted knowing about the injury and did nothing about it for days. He could have taken her to the Vet. He could have segregated her from the animal that attacked her. He could have called me to let me know what happened and to ask me what to do. He did none of those things. It’s truly disgusting that a so-called animal care provider could act in such a callous and unprofessional manner toward a pet in his care. To preempt Steve’s inevitable attempt to deny this happened (as with previous complaints): I am not a former employee, I had no prior knowledge of him or his business until now, and I have no personal axe to grind. But rest assured I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau, the ASPCA, county animal control services, the Sherriff’s office, and my attorney. I plan to do everything in my power to put Steve out of business and in jail for animal cruelty where he belongs. more
