Wonderful Place To Shop for Pets! 8/10/2008

Pets "N" Things is owned by the same people who own Pet Emporium, so you know right away they know how to do things right. I don't know which came first but they both are great stores. \r \r Pets is easy to find, near Busch's on Michigan Ave. They have lots of parking. They sell pets(Pet E. does not) all kinds of pets. They also sell everything you need for those pets. \r \r Another nice thing they do, is host Rescue Pets. How great is this, giving cats and dogs another chance at a good home.\r \r Try them, I recommend them, and try rescuing a pet! more

Pets 'n' Things 8/3/2008

Pets'n' Things is a quaint pet store specializing in exotics, especially birds. Most the staff has extensive knowledge about each breed of bird or reptile they have & will make a phone call if necessary to find an answer for you. The true love for the animals is demonstrated by the cleanliness & health of each cage & animal. The owner takes excellent care of the animals by feeding them a top notch diet & gives them sufficient room in each cage. They take the time to hand feed their baby parrots making them sweet & great pets. They take the time to insure they are selling you the right pet &/or supply needed to suite both your life style & the animals needs. I strongly recommend this store! The prices are always fair & the selection great! I encourage all local pet owners to support this store over the mega-pet stores! Pros: knowledgable & caring staff more

fun store to visit 2/10/2008

They have good prices on there animals and they sell animals that should be sold and they let animal from shelter be sold, unlike the stores that buy from puppy mills. they should try to come down 50 cents to 1 dollar on the merchandise but they sell bird that behave like puppies and they fed by hand their birds(or a few of their birds) baby food. they take great care of their pets. Ilove to visit and buy my puppy soem treats and my snake some treats every time. they even let me take pictures of one of the birds to send to a friend online that wanted to buy. more

Great store with good staff and good selection 5/9/2006

Since i have two dogs and a cat, I am always in the look out for great pet store. This is a great pet store with some specialtiy food selection and some knowledgeable staff who knows their product. Their toy selections are good but the downside is the items are bit pricey compare with bigger stores like pet supply plus. However, i do enjoy shopping there as they have unique products and special food items for my dogs that other bigger stores doesn't usually carry. more

Good Locally Ran Pet Store 2/15/2006

I've been coming to this pet store since I was a kid. It's always fun to see there selection of birds, fish and other little furry creatures! They have a good selection of toys for all animals as well as different brands of food and anything else you need for your animals. The staff is very knowledgeable and always nice to work with. Their only downside is their merchandise can be pricey. PROS: Has everything you need CONS: Pricey more
