I was so nervous for my dog's first bath and haircut, but the girls there were so nice and understanding. Not only did they take the time to address all of my concerns, but they spent a little extra time with my baby, Sasha, to keep her calm and relaxed through the whole thing! She looks so gorgeous, guys! I appreciate everything! more

Pets Are People Too is the only place I'd ever take my dog to be groomed.... or should I say, the only place I CAN take my dog because he won't let me take him anywhere else! I have a 90 lb. Alaskan Malamute that I adopted when I returned from my deployment to Iraq 6 years ago. He's my best buddy, but he's seriously misunderstood. He can be grumpy at times (especially when he doesn't want to be bothered) so a lot of people are afraid of him. I've taken him to 2 other groomers in Pines and neither one of them was able to handle my dog. Finally found this place, and AT LAST!!! Someone with enough experience to know what they're doing! It has been one hell of a mess with his coat shedding all over my house and my clothes! So glad I found them and I don't have to deal with that anymore. Thank you, pets are people too, for not turning me away! And thank you Valerie for taking such great care of my dog and for treating him gently! I guess that's all it took to make him like you! more

Never going back. Stay away if you love your dog! Horrible customer service! Last time we took our 2 dogs to Pets are People Too Grooming they took almost 8 hours for a simple bath and nail trim. When we were finally able to pick up our dogs, I asked when they were last taken outside to find out if I should let them visit the grass before getting in the car. They told me that they don't walk the dogs during the time they are there b/c its a liability issue. 8 hours in a cage and no bathroom breaks!! Because Pets are People Too Grooming is so close to our house we decided to try them one more time today. In order to prevent our dogs from staying there all day with no bathroom breaks we called last week, a full week ahead of time, to schedule a Saturday morning quick visit. When I got there at 9:30am this morning to drop them off we were told that even though we made our appointment last week that they wouldn't be able to finish our dogs until 6pm. WHAT?! When I mentioned it was an appointment set up a week ago and not a walk in they simple told me ""Yea, our scheduling doesn't work like that. It's first come first serve and other people dropped their dogs off already."" What a joke. Why even do appointments if people that walk in can trump the appointments? The worst part was the fact that she utterly did not care one bit that I was upset and she had more of the attitude of ""We don't care if we lose one customer b/c we are busy anyways."" The worst part? She was absolutely ready to take my dog to the back to sit in a cage until 6pm, with zero concern for the fact she would be in there for 9+ hours. It never even crossed her mind to tell me to come back later in the day to avoid the extreme amount of cage time. Then again, with these idiotic scheduling procedures, if my dog isn't there that probably means anyone willing to let their dog sit in a cage for 9 hours would get in the queue ahead of ours. If they really believe ""Pets are People Too"" and they treat people with such disregard I would hate to see what happens behind closed doors while we are gone. They obviously don't care about pets well-being with something as simple as a potty break what else can be happening back there? We will be finding a new groomer today and be looking for one that wants us to be happy rather than just someone handing them a bunch of money. more

I was a groomer there not too long ago. I had the worst experience of my life. They treat their employees like garbage. They take out of your pay check, pet leach that got lost, vet bill , lost collars’…\r They will ask you to do things that you not been paid for. They don’t care you strict on commission. They will abuse you. I’m glad I’m out there. I’ll never go back.\r Pros: Worst employers in the country Cons: If you are a groomer, this the place you don’t want waste yo more
