Whenever we go to the mall this is always a place my kids want to stop in an look at all of the animals. I on the other hand hate going in this store. I can't stand going in here mainly because it always smells so bad in the store. They do have a large selection of animals and the employee's are always nice and helpful. If you can stand the smell I guess it's not a bad pet store. more

Not a bad place. 3/31/2006

While it's no PetSmart, Petland is pretty decent for a local pet store. I bought my pet rat there and my best friend bought her now 3 year old ferret there. Both of us have had wonderful success, although I don't go there terribly often just because PetSmart is closer. The staff is very knowledgable. And when I attended, the pets all seemed well cared for and well attended to. more

I would never buy a pet from this place, when I walked into Petland the place smelled so bad and the animals all looked dirty and sick. I was saddened to see their ferrets who had food with poop in it and their coats looked aweful, the only thing I would get from this store would be pet products, nothing else. Stores like this should be banned from selling pets as they don't care for them more
