A dining room filled with hibachi grills sets up the expectation for flying soy sauce and the fancy knife skills of an exhibitionist Japanese chef. But here, as the name and portraits of Tuscany landscapes imply, the tableside cooks are giving diners a taste of Italy. Patrons sit at a round table--with space for 10 guests--to watch chefs perform their wizardy on calamari steak, Italian sausage and lamb tips, which include side salad and minestrone soup. The presentation may lack the showmanship at more colorful teppanyaki restaurants, but at least here, the TVs are on during the lulls in action.
