Honest And Competent 1/26/2011

I finally found a repair shop that is competent. I have been to many repair shops over the years and so far I found Pete's to be the most competent of all. They found the cause of my problems and invited me to come and see for myself which I did they showed me and explained in terms even I could understand why I needed the repairs. I did not have all the money necessary to get all recommended repairs at that time so they sat down with me and sorted things out by priority (I have had all recommended repairs done since). It is a breath of fresh air to see that there is still one Honest and competent repair shop. Margaret more

A repair place you can trust? 11/10/2010

I chose this repair place out of desperation. I was stranded on the side of the road, wasn't familiar with the area, searched and called a few places in the phone book, and they were the only ones to answer. After being quoted a price of $3,100 fix my van I was told it would only cost $900 to get it running again. The rest of the quote was for maintenence they said I needed. I called my local mechanic, and he quoted me a price of $500. Needless to say, I'm having my van towed back home to have the work done. P.S. They charged me $97 (one hour of labor) to tell me what was wrong. While I understand that a diagnostic fee is a standard charge no mechanic that fixes ordinary cars is woth $97 an hour. more
