Greasy, tasteless junk 1/5/2011

I gave the waitress $10 for an $8.50 to-go order and she walked away, assuming the rest was for her. Rude. Now for the food. It was greasy and artery-clogging, yet completely flavorless. There were two slices of tomato plopped on top of the gyro. There was NOTHING mixed in with the meat, just a big pile of greasy, flavorless sawdust beef. To top it off they have ""Tips for to-go orders are appreciated"" pasted right on their cash register. I don't know about you, but that makes me feel like a stingy cheapskate no matter how much tip I give. Hmm... maybe that's why the waitress stole my $1.50. more

decline of a great restaurant 2/1/2010

What used to be a great place for greek food has become a restaurant where the staff doesn't concern itself with the quality of the food and the owners don't seem to care what the staff is doing. Its sad; this was the go-to place for gyros. Used to be busy all the time, now its usually deserted. Cons: Staff doesn't care more

I love the pete's franchise 1/21/2009

I am a very big Greek and gyro fan. I just love Greek food, and petes keep my hungers at rest. It?s a very delicious great serving restaurant that everyone in Denver must go. No excuse, you won?t be disappointed. more

Great Greek Food 1/3/2009

This is a great place to go for Greek food. I especially enjoy the gyros they serve, probably because the lamb is superbly spiced and the yogurt sauce tangy. They also serve old-fashioned burgers and super sandwiches for those who don't really like Greek. more

Don't go for the atmosphere 10/18/2008

The food is the star at all Pete's restaurants and this is no exception. However you will not be disappointed! The gyro's are fab and the service is quick. My advice would be to order to go! Get in, grab your food and head for a better setting to enjoy your food. Pros: Food! Gyros and Souvlaki are great! Cons: Dumpy, dingy, dirty inside more

Outstanding Greek Food for Denver 2/18/2008

Very pleasant staff and tasty food. Every app and entree that I've ever tried has been excellent. In particular, I recommend the Shrimp Santorini appetizer. Excellent Greek salad (may want dressing on side as it is a lost), Gyro sandwiches, Gyro platters and chicken kebob sandwiches. Of course, the pitas and tzatziki Pros: Very tasty food and pleasant waitstaff Cons: Order Pick-up System could be improved to avoid cashier confusion more

have eaten here different times of the day and found that early evening is a good time very nice waitresses, the food was great. There is a parking lot out back I will now be a regular here. Pros: big portions great service Cons: no liquor more

A surprise location that is very down to earth and down to earth food. 7/20/2006

Someone suggested this location and surprisingly, I went back several times. Don't get dressed up, but go there hungry and enjoy some great food. Pros: Just down to earth food and service Cons: Parking might be a problem, but have not had the problem ourselves. more

This place has the best Gryos I've had anywhere in Denver. And I truly love the people (Brooke and all the other fabulous chickies). Pros: Waitstaff, Gyros, Cheap more
