If you are looking for your hair to be clown colors the day after Peter applies a color application, this is the place to go, NOT! I had some previous highlights growing out, and knew there would be some color differences from the roots to the ends as the color fades. I have had my hair highlighted for years and am well aware of the issues of managing color treated hair. I also explained I have been going to a girl who did an okay job, but wasn't always completely happy with it. But, she was always close to what I asked for and I always left presentable for goodness sake. When I left the salon, my hair was brown, not any version of blonde. I was in shock. Then I figured, give it a day, I'm just not use to the darker color. When I woke up the next day, my hair was orange and grey! I was mortified! I decided to make some calls to salons who specialize in color correction. I had two consultations, both in which I was told my hair had been done by "someone not very familiar with color processing". At this point, I was no longer comfortable in returning to Peter to fix the botched job. I made an appointment with a salon that had two women, both with over 15 years experience in the business. They labeled the correction of my botched color "smoke and fire". Wasn't funny until I saw the incredible job they did fixing it. I explained to Peter my unhappiness and why I did not give him the opportunity to correct the color and I wanted a refund. He did not return emails or calls. When he answered the phone he stumbled over his words, blaming the condition of my hair when I came in, that he had a gut feeling he should turn me away (wish he would have, I'm guessing it was because he knew his coloring skills were not up to speed) and blah, blah, blah. Funny, how the condition of my hair is just fine even after his two color applications and the color and foils the girls did the next day to fix the "smoke and fire". I wish I had listened to my gut, saw no clients in the salon, Peter watching movies on his big screen, a large collection of DVD's, work out equipment, his non-professional salon equipment like the hair dryer, flat iron, etc. all signs of too much time on his hands.... There isn't a rating low enough for this salon.
