I am a Manager for one of the largest parking companies in the world, we own, lease, and manage properties from the U.S. all the way to Europe. Now, I called Peterbrooke locally and spoke with a nice young woman by the name of Jesse. This conversation was about a month to month deal for customer appreciation days we were holding for once a month for about 1,500-1,900 people per month. Jesse, although as nice as can be, couldn't help on this subject so she reffered me to the corporate office to speak with Linda. I then called Linda. I have to tell you that I never felt disrespected like this in my life. When a woman answered the phone, I introduced myself and said Jesse from San Marco Peterbrooke referred me to this number, to speak to LINDA. The woman on the phone said MMMhuh. I said so is this LINDA, she says yeah what is this what are you wanting to do a donation. She is saying this all while I am beginning to tell her how much I want to spend with her a month. We have a budget for the year and I wanted to do something nice for our customers for the year. I begin speaking again to her and apparently I wasn't fast enough for her so she kept cutting me off. I finally had to tell her, ""Are you Going to let me finish"", at which point there was nothing but silence and the conversation I felt was ruined. I didn't know I was on a 30 second elevator pitch when I am the one going to spend alot of money. So she lost Money for the company because I went to Dunkin Donuts and they were happy to help and listen. I have a Question for Linda? If she knew how much I was going to spend with Peterbrooke, which was a pretty substantial amount of money, Would she have treated me that way? Whatever, a dollar lost is some one else's dollar earned.
