Pete Sommer House Lifter

My Husband and I got the 3 estimates like our agent told us to do, but it didn't matter. We had our minds made up after the meeting with Pete Sommer. He showed us his whole plan and took his time and answered all of our questions. Our house was completed while we lived in it. Our yard was kept very clean during the entire phase of lifting our home and put cleaned up after like nothing was even done. I can not give enough praise to Pete Sommer and his crew from House Lifter. They really made a nightmare situation into a dream... Bring on the Summer, we are ready to have our life back at the Jersey Shore thanks to House Lifter NJ. more

Pete Sommer saved my house! I can’t begin to describe what an honest hardworking person Pete is. My whole rear and left side foundation had collapsed due to the flood waters and my house was tilted over. Pete came in 5 days after the storm and jacked my house up with steel beams. He and his crew then came back in February and raised my house 4-1/2 feet. Jay Kennedy and his masons where right there behind Pete and ripped out the old foundation and built a new one. Pete moved the house forward and to the side and now the house sits on top of a new foundation. The whole process was very smooth and went just as Pete described it would. I've never left a review before but I'm so grateful for his miraculous work, I logged on just to publicly thank you Pete. When everything seemed to hit rock bottom, you came in and lifted us up (No pun intended!) \r To anyone searching for a reliable, responsible and dependable house lifter, I highly recommend you speak to Pete. His knowledge of flood plain info, insurance, FEMA, etc.. saved us!\r And in the end, being 1/2 the price of the other two estimates was just unbelievable. Pete lifted my house in Dec 2012 and did a great job. Pete worked with Jay Kennedy, the mason who built my foundation. They came as a team and worked well together. This made it easier for me. Jay was also great to work with. Would definitely recommend Pete if you want your house lifted. more

I met Pete Sommer, the ""House Lifter"", through the recommendations of my neighbors after Hurricane Sandy ravaged our area. A few hours after my call Pete was at my home with materials to shore up my house and prevent further damage from a destroyed foundation. He promised and returned to properly ""lift"" my home and prepared for the necessary repairs I would need. His family-owned business provided courteous work persons who were supervised by Pete himself to level the building and clean up the mess of debris and household items all over my property and adjoining properties. Pete Sommer, you are a God send! After our house was on the market for almost 2 years, we finally had a buyer... But just 6 weeks before the closing our buyer secured a home inspection and then made demands that he wanted major structural items in our basement repaired that he argued affected the structural integrity of our home, I was 7 months pregnant and heartbroken with this news. If you are looking for a reliable and dependable House Lifter, Pete Sommer is the guy for you. He dug a basement under our home and supported it, did all of the masonry work, complete plumbing and built the stairs. We had extreme termite damage that other companies said they were not able to fix and this company was able to do it ALL. more

I had the best experience using this company! Pete Sommer was extremely reliable and his work ethic was extraordinary. He was at my house everyday as promised, even Sundays until the job was complete. I was able to live in the house with my family while the entire job was being performed. He not only lifted the house but repaired all foundation work that other companies said were unfixable. I am so grateful for the high quality work and the time efficiency of which it was done. I am Pete Sommer's secretary Elizabeth and he is not a crook, this man below me tells lies and lost in court after we had to settle a dispute due to the fact that he signed a contract and when Pete showed up to do the work he told Pete to get off his property. He lost in court and payed Pete over $1,000 in fines. DO NOT LISTEN TO A WORD THE MAN BELOW ME SAYS! this guy is an absolute criminal he ripped me off and on top of it he did work without my permission, he lied about repairs he never made. people the guy does not have a legitimate business address he travels around in this truck with this white trash girl and they use con artist scam to take your checks and cash them without your permission, his entire crew is a bunch of illegal immigrants do yourself a favor stay away from this guy he is a scam more
