There is a worker who was abusive to a ferret when i was there.One of the kits bit a co worker (not her) she then proceeded to spray bitter apple in the ferrets mouth, i informed her that is not what you should do. she said she does it all the time and the ferret has never had a reaction. This person SHOULD NOT be allowed around the ferrets!! You DO NOT sprat bitter apple in their mouths ever!! i informed the manager but i can almost guarantee nothing will be done about it. more

I took my new puppy, Bella, to their puppy training class. The trainer, Kimi, is fabulous! She knows what she is doing and I love the way she incorporates AKC into the puppies training. She's thorough, patient, honest, and communicates well. I highly recommend her!! more

We take our dogs to the new Kent Petco and we love the groomers.\r Brandy is great!!!!! They are all very knowledgable and have given us tips on health issues for our dogs. We have tried many groomers in the past couple of years and by far the Kent East Hill Petco is the greatest!!! more

My husband and I are new to the area and thought that Petco would do a good job grooming our Sheltie. We were wrong. When we dropped him off for his morning appointment, we were told 3-4 hours and they would call to let us know when he was redy to be picked up. Well 6.5 hours later, still no call. I called to see how much longer and JoanNa was very rude and said another hour. I was fine with that, just needed some communication. I called Kelly the store manager, very polite and helpful and she said it would be 1 more hour and gave me a 10percent discount (not the point) well 8 minutes later JoanNa calls back to say our dog was ready. I show up and he is completly uneven, just straight chopped. Well Kelly wasnt there when I picked him up...so I will be calling her back shortly. In the end, don't trust your dog there. Find someone who cares for your dog and doesnt treat them like they are just a number. I will never go to the grooming department again. What a great place to get healthy food, and basic supplies for a dog. The employees are knowledgeable about dog health, and give good advice. They have lots of other things, too--a good inventory. When we had cats, I came here to get food that would help with eliminating fur balls. The staff is very helpful. PROS: Employees that are caring about pets. CONS: more

Petco in Covington is a great place. Very pet and people friendly. Lots of good advice and fun things for your pets. Very friendly staff that are very willing to help. more

We love Petco! This one is great. Clean and never too crowded, which is a definant must for a place where you take your pet. Parking is plenty. Staff is friendly and curtious always. When we ask for help they go above and beyond, they have even recommended other pet stores to go for certain items. more
