The pets really do go here 5/28/2006

You know in their ads when they say, "it's where the pets go"? Well they mean it. The place is filled with folks and their dogs, and they do cat adoptions here too. It's craziness. It's also a fantastic pet resource from the basics to really unnessary travel accesories for them (although they do have airline approved sherpa bags as well). more

A good, reliable neighborhood pet store 5/13/2006

Although I like to support independent stores of any kind, you can't beat Petco for the prices. That goes for their food, grooming, and cleaning supplies, as well as the pet grooming. Add to that their extensive range of products and variety within the same brand, and I find it hard to argue for independent retailers. And quite frankly, with grooming costs for my dog being at least $20 below that of the mom-and-pop groomers, I'm a proud card-carrying member of the Petco chain. more

Great pet stuff! 10/6/2005

If you need a bone for your dog, come here! If you need some new salt water fish, this is the place. They are probably best for their lovely selection of both fresh and saltwater fish. They have a few birds, mostly parakeets, which are very cute. They seem kind of scared to be there. There are also come hamsters and girbils. Petco is mainly known for its pet supplies, of which it has many. Stop in sometime and check it out! more
