I went in to buy my daughter her first pets.... guppy fish. 7 guppies and they ALL died within 3 days. I had fish before and my aquarium was properly set up. when i brought them back, I asked, what could of caused it? One sales clerk ,who seemed to in charge of the fish was basicly telling me it was my fault and that i should have a empty aquarium for 4 weeks,to set it up, and then purchase fish... i was feeling rather bad about the whole experiance. Until another associate confided in me that i picked my fish the day after they arrived from florida, and that they always have alot of kill off with the guppies. I thanked her for the info. got my money back for the dead fish, and the same day went to fish and pets, got more guppies. Not one have died and it has been over a month. It wasn't me... it was how Petco handles the fish, and destress before they sell them that caused their death. this really annoyed me even more when they have all those stickers and lables stating what good ste
