petco sucks 5/1/2009

So i have been to petco a lot and i found a new groomer they don't know what they r doing they have hurt dogs and sent them home do u want your animal to go there i know i don't i found this little mom and pop shop and i have been going ever sens they r amazing (Creative Clips) they r the best good people i have seen an angry dog walking in and he calmed right down with one of the groomers they do the best job i have seen creative clips i am behind u 100 percent more

Training class?? 1/18/2009

NOT! this store sets up a tiny, approximately 10'x4' area in an aisle for their "training class". If there are any big dogs (which is what I have), forget it! A big dog could practically walk over the barrier, or just breathe on it to knock it down. I watched for a few minutes and left. To the store's credit, the trainer used positive training methods, though adding a clicker would have been more effective. more

Awful animal care 5/16/2008

This store is awful. They don't treat the small animals well at all, are not knowledgable - can't even tell a male animal from a female! The experience I had the associate didn't even touch the animal to put it in the cardboard carrier he just chased it around the cage until it went into the box - it this a caring animal person. Go to the Windsor Petco instead!!! more

This is my number 1 pet store. I go here for all my pet supplies. They take care of all my pet from my cats, to my hamsters, fish and hermit crabs. If for some reason you need to bring something back, they gladly exchange it, no questions asked. PROS: Terrific service. CONS: more
