Injured while grooming 7/3/2011

4 hours after taking our dog in for a 10:30 grooming appointment, they had not started. It was finished after 5-1/2 hours later. Our dog had clipper burns. We did not find out until the following day that Petco groomer had cut the end of the male organ, requiring a vet visit, with ointment and antibiotics prescribed. I would give less than one star if I could. more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE RUDEEEE 3/16/2011

TERRIBLE MANAGER: the little girl manager they have thinks she knows everything and when you prove her wrong it makes her even more determined to not oFfer good customer service. What is worst is the store manager tries to cover for her later on and agrees to what she says to cover himself. I called other petcos and petsmarts and they told me they would refund me my money for the product destroyed by our pet hamster. She got out 3 times.\r \r WORST PETCO I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. DONT GO TO THE FEDERAL WAY PETCO\r \r GO TO PETSMART ACROSS THE WAY!!! THEY ARE NICER/FRIENDLIER more

Some good, some bad. 7/13/2010

5 stars for the Dog Trainer Debi.You get what you pay for and more in her training classes. 2 stars for the quality of fish- they always seem to die quickly compared to other fish supply stores. They need a better wholesale distributor. 5 stars for the fact they now carry natural food brands like Solid Gold, Wellness, Blue Buffalo etc! Love it. They also have good sales from time to time. more

Petco, it's where my dogs love to go! I have never bought any pets from them, but I do buy supplies for my dogs from petco, and do like their selection. more

AVOID THE FEDERAL WAY PETCO!! 5/20/2009

We purchased a baby ferret two weeks ago from the federal way Petco. We had 4 ferrets already at home. We have no other animals except for our ferrets and they are strictly indoor pets. After we got our baby ferret home, we gave her a bath and as soon as she was put in the water, bugs from everywhere started coming out from her fur and was causing bleeding. It was the most horrible thing i have ever seen and to top it off our 4 other ferrets now had bugs to!!! We called the store and complained and was told that we would have to give her back in order for her to get care. She is a part of our family so we did what we needed to get her bug free, but i called corporate to file a major complaint. Avoid this store at all costs! more

Lazy Staff! 5/15/2008

I went into this petstore the other day and I was greeted at the door. There were about 4 employees all standing around a register talking to one another. I went over to the reptile section and wanted to check out and hold a boa, so I went to the front and asked one of the employees to assist in reptiles. She gave me rude looks and lazily trudged over to the area, made no attempt at conversation and seemed like she didnt like her job. I then decided I didnt want to purchase the animal and went to go purchase mice for my other snakes. Once again she made no conversation and was rude about getting mice for me. I went to the front and made my purchases where all the employees were laughing and not paying attention. When they seen me standing there, a young guy rang me up and didnt ask me if I needed a bag to carry my stuff in (I had my two snakes with me) so it was hard to carry the stuff to the car. \r I went in there today to purchase the boa, and the lady (different one today) at the f more

Not very helpful 9/20/2005

Although this store seems to have a good selection of products, they lack any real customer service. I walked around this store for 15 minutes attempting to find someone to answer a few questions about dog food. After receiveing no help from anyone I left the store and will not return. I did attempt to flag a sales person down while inside the store but they quickly went into the back room and no sales staff were on the floor of the store. more

Nice store 7/16/2005

Petco is a nice animal supply store, everytime I go in there they are stocked and the staff is friendly and helpful. I bought some fish there and they got sick and died quickly. I went back and got some more and the same happened again. I went to another petstore got the same kind of fish and they lived forever. more

Great pet store! 6/13/2005

This is a really nice pet store to go to. They have a great selection of pet supplies...toys, food, cages, you name it. They also have lots of pets...fish, reptiles and usually even cats and ferrets. Very nice clean store with friendly people. more
