Clean, spacious, brightly lit 4/8/2006

I like this Petco. The location next to Best Buys is good for me as I often need to pick up things there, too. Petco is clean and well lit and they stock everything we need for our dog. They seem to do a good job caring for the pets that they sell. I've never noticed any sick or dead animals in the cages like I have at other pet stores. I also like that you can take your shopping cart out to your car to unload big bags of dog food or other heavy items. more

Good all-round pet store 3/25/2006

We used to go here for dog food but now the supermarket carries that brand. But we still go to Petco for other supplies, like a new collar or a ear medicine or whatever. The store is clean and tidy and pets are always welcome. They have an excellent selection of products and the pets' cages and tanks seem very clean. more

Unlike many chain pet stores, not all Petcos are alike. Some are good, some are great, and some are simply awful. But the Petco in Timonium shines as one of the best pet stores I’ve been to, and I’ve been to a lot. The staff there really seems to care about every animal they sell, from the .99-cent mouse to the $2,000 cockatiel. It is always clean and the management knows what they are doing. They will even take special orders if they don’t have an item in stock. Great customer service and great animal care make this Petco stand out from the others. more
