Older store, but really helpful staff! 10/3/2012

This store is in an older shopping center, so is not as UPSCALE as another reviewer would have liked, however any reference to it looking like Compton is an Extreme Exaggeration! (Sorry, Compton, but what is, is:) \r \r The store is clean and the staff are really helpful and knowledgeable. Their shelves are always stocked and I have always found what I needed. They have an excellent return policy and have been very accommodating, even on returns which went over the "return period". That is a big deal, as far as I'm concerned, because sometimes products just don't work as advertised... These guys take care of their customers.\r \r It's a pet store. They have supplies and some live pets (fish, turtles, etc. It's clean. It's not a surgery center. What more do you want:) more

I thought I was in Compton! 8/2/2008

Unfortunately, this Petco is the closest to my house. I got out of my car and thought I was in Compton!! The sidewalk was filthy. Shopping carts everywhere and I had to find one in the parking lot. Three employees were smoking cigarettes outside the store. When I walked in there was nobody there. I finally tracked a female down and asked for help with lifting a bag on dog food because I am disabled. She rolled her eyes and walked to the register and told me everyone was on break and she couldn't leave the register. I asked for the manager and she told me he wasn't in. The store was filthy. Needless to say, I left. I would never recommend this Petco. more

Petco also has a very good selection 2/12/2006

Petco also has a very good selection. I like the fact that I am able to bring my dog with me when I shop. They are very friendly. Petco also has a very good selection of great dog and cat food. more

Great Service 6/16/2005

My dog has flea so I drop by Petco. This store was great. They pay personal attention to detail and wonderful customer service! They recommend me all sorts of tips and how to keep the dog flea free. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for supplies or how to take care of your pet. more
