PetSmart

Got in at Petsmart for a grooming last minute when the other stores were booked through then next week. I should have picked up on that. Anyhow, I took my mini schnauzer. He hadn't been in a few weeks because we had moved to Louisville from Lexington. He had some mats that I should have worked out beforehand (wasn't that bad but was tangled). I left it at their discretion (shaving just tangled areas). I pick him up and he's shaved everywhere. I'm not real happy but OK, it will grow back.... but then I receive this progress report that said he should be groomed more often, hated the whole process. I found this progress report very smart a** . So, I said first off, he was groomed every 2 weeks up until the last few weeks, when because of moving and my pregnancy, he hasn't been groomed. Also, what puppy likes to be groomed? Isn't this a given? Oh, and I should mention that my puppy cut was $44 WOW, what a ripoff. Go somewhere else. My husband got me a westie for christmas last year, we named him peyton. about six months later he needed a haircut well i was very attatched and hadnt really let him out of my site since i got him. A friend had told me pet smart prices were pretty resonable so i went. Dana greeted me in the grooming salon and let me know she would take very good care of my peyton. she was super friendly and i honestly trusted her with him. Dana told me she would call me when he was done and then i left. about 3 hours later she called me personally not some random worker and let me know that he did wonderful and he was ready to come home. It was so nice of her to take the time to call me herself i was astonished! When i arrived i think she was just excited for me to see him as i was! He looked wonderful she did such a great job! I have been back to her about 3 times since peytons first visit and will NEVER go anywhere else! Pros: awesome customer service, great grooming job Cons: a little pricy, too many add on services that should be included more
