PetSmart

I've been taking my two Golden Retreivers to Petsmart's Doggy Day Camp & Pets Hotel for 4 or 5 years now. In October, my oldest, Lucas, got cancer in his shoulder and couldn't go to daycare anymore because it was too hard on him. Last week I called to make a daycare reservation for my other dog, Tater. The woman scheduling excitedly asked if Lucas would be coming too (Lucas was a favorite of the staff). I burst into tears as I told her Lucas had passed away last month. Today I got home and found a beautiful bouquet of flowers on my doorstep from Petsmart. There was a lovely card attached offering their condolences and saying how much they'd miss Lucas. I can't even express how much this meant to my family & I. And THAT is why I give Petsmart 5 stars. more

Other than the grooming operation, this store is the worst run operation I've ever seen. The manager might have made it through the 3rd grade. They don't care for their pets. Instead of treating sick ones, they kill them. They discriminate against women employees. Most of the employees don't know how to care for reptiles and are afraid to handle them. The supervisory staff are lazy morons who don't listen to the wisdom of some of their own empoyees. For all the pet stores to choose from, this would be the last one I'd ever shop at. more

I just took our small dog to Petsmart Grooming for the first time and am so happy! Krista B took such great care of our dog, spent time making her feel comfortable and asking me all about how I'd like her groomed. My dog's cut turned out even better than expected.
