3 Issues:
#1: Was sold a VERY sick dog and were not notified. KS law requires pet stores to maintain the health of the animals. Our puppy had been treated several times for coccidia and gerardia. They stopped treatment 3 weeks before we purchased him. We had to treat him with three different medications and he still has diahrrea and bloody stools.
#2 We were pressured into buying a 2 month insurance policy that included AKC registration. A ""value"" at $69.99. We were told that were we to do this separately, it would be twice as much. (can't recall the exact amt they quoted) When we received the AKC registration, the AKC registration was $20 and the 2 months of insurance was complimentary through the AKC. In other words, we paid for insurance the was supposed to be FREE!
# Issue #3 We purchased a chinchilla from this store. We told them that we wanted a male. We were told the one we purchased was a male. We just found out yesterday that it is a female. (females have more issues than males and aren't as docile). After reading the previous posts about this company, we chalked it up as a hard lesson learned. I did not want to stress myself out, if these people do not have the integrity to do honest business practice. I will NEVER go there again and I would NEVER recommend anyone going there. Very disappointing. The Kansas Dept of Animals or the BBB should take a hard look at these people. I feel sick to know how many people they have mislead and how many puppies remain sick that are in their care. Buyer Beware!!!!
