Dog-owners, Beware!!!!\r
I decided to try Petsuites in Aliso Viejo to care for my dogs periodically. I first tried a two to four hour stay, to my dogs used to the hotel so I could board them overnight. My two maltese were supposed to stay in one of their suites for the stay. \r
My husband and I dropped them off and went shopping. We were done earlier than we thought and returned to pick our dogs up in two hours (thank goodness for this). When they returned our dogs, they had urine and feces all over their behinds and legs. Someone must had put them in a cramped cage together and one must had had to go to the bathroom so that both ended up sitting in urine and feces. As you know, dogs never, never sit in feces and urine. I could not believe this. My 3 1/2 and 5 1/2 year old dogs are trained to go outside or on potty pads, the latter of which I supplied for them but they refused to take. The attendants returned the dogs to us without a concern that our dogs were soaked in their urine and feces. I was SHOCKED. The attitude was terrible and the care was disgusting. When I called to let them know that I was very unhappy about this situation, the younger attendant was rude and trying to lie about what happened (although it was quite clear). They offered us a complementary bath. Can you imagine taking no responsibility for their lack of care of our dogs and then acting like they were doing us a favor to offer baths? \r
This is how Petsuites welcomes a first-time customer who is seeing if their dogs can be boarded there from time to time? Unbelievable. Deborah M. Maddi, Laguna Beach
